Arrest Warrant for “Mr Prada” in Homicide of Baton Rouge Therapist
NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) – The Baton Rouge Police Department has issued an arrest warrant for 20-year-old Terryon Ishmael Thomas, a TikTok personality known as “Mr Prada,” in connection with the homicide of 69-year-old William Nicholas “Nick” Abraham, a Baton Rouge therapist.
Abraham’s body was discovered wrapped in a tarp and abandoned in a ditch along Highway 51 between Fluker and the Village of Tangipahoa on Sunday, September 29. Investigators believe Thomas was the last person seen driving Abraham’s vehicle, as captured by surveillance footage from a store in the Juban Crossing area.
Authorities attempted to stop the stolen vehicle on Monday afternoon in Baton Rouge. However, Thomas allegedly backed into a police unit and fled the scene. An officer later identified him from a lineup as the driver.
Thomas is now wanted on multiple charges, including aggravated criminal damage to property, resisting arrest, and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. With 8.2 million followers and over 550 million likes on TikTok, Thomas is a prominent figure on the platform.
According to officials in Tangipahoa Parish, Abraham suffered blunt force trauma to the head, neck, and shoulders, indicating a violent death. Sheriff Gerald Sticker described the incident as particularly brutal. A passerby discovered Abraham’s body early Sunday morning after noticing a suspicious tarp along the highway. Detectives believe the murder occurred on Saturday evening, but no signs of a crime were found during a search of Abraham’s home in Baton Rouge.
Abraham, a respected therapist and former Catholic priest, was well-known in the Baton Rouge community and had appeared on cable television as a mental health expert. His attorney, Jarrett Ambeau, expressed shock over the nature of Abraham’s death, stating, “I’m absolutely devastated and completely surprised that something like that could have happened to a man who I believed to be so tender, so gentle, and have such a servant’s heart.”
Authorities are urging anyone with information on Thomas’s whereabouts to contact the police.
